Student Handbook 2018-19

The Elizabethtown College Student Handbook is your official introduction to important resources and is your guide to Elizabethtown College policies, community standards and expectations for individual student conduct.

The Student Handbook is not a contract between the College and any student or third party.  The College reserves the right, in its discretion, to amend any portion of the Student Handbook at any time.  Accordingly, students should check the Student Handbook web page related to any revisions of the Student Handbook.  The Student Handbook, as posted on the Handbook’s web page, is the current and official version and supersedes all prior versions.  Please contact the Vice President for Student Life if you have any questions.

Letter from the Vice President for Student Life

As a member of the Elizabethtown College community, you enjoy access to many valuable resources ranging from academic advising and leadership development to tutoring sessions and cultural excursions. I encourage you to take full advantage of all aspects of the Elizabethtown College living and learning environment by becoming more knowledgeable about how the College works, by meeting professionals in various offices and by offering your ideas for the enhancement of our programs and services.

The Student Handbook is your official introduction to important resources and your guide to Elizabethtown College policies, community standards and expectations for individual student conduct. The College Catalog is your official guide to academic programs and policies. It’s essential for you to refer to both documents before you make decisions that may affect your academic success or relationship with the College.

I and everyone at the College are here for you, so know that each day you have many people that wish to help you through questions and celebrate your accomplishments.  You can always reach me at limasc@etown.edu, as I would enjoy finding a time for us to visit in person.  If you have an idea, a concern, a question, or praise to share, please feel free to reach out and I will reply straightaway so we can talk further.  Have a wonderful day and Go Blue Jays!

Celestino Limas, Ph.D.
Vice President for Student Life
