Newtonian mechanics of particles, a system of particles and of rigid bodies in fixed and moving reference frames in three dimensions. Topics include energy and momentum concepts, Euler’s equations, and the simple oscillator. With applications to mechanical systems. *Prerequisite(s): PHY 200 and MA 122. Fall semester.
