FBE 385 - New Venture Creation

This class provides students the opportunity to demonstrate the skills necessary to write a business plan for a new venture and to exhibit the capacity to develop sustainable business models on identified entrepreneurial opportunities. The class emphasizes a “hands-on” approach based on class discussion and interaction, a final project, presentations, case studies, experiential exercises, and guest speakers who have gone beyond the “what if…?” stage to actually creating an venture where nothing existed before. Spring semester.
