Topics covered include factors affecting a country’s output of goods and services, the role of fiscal policy and monetary policy in dealing with inflation and unemployment, the Federal Reserve system and the goal of price stability, causes and consequences of budget deficits, and factors affecting trade deficits and exchange rates.
