Subjects covered include the Restoration, the industrial revolution, the Revolution of 1848, the Second Empire, the Commune, the Third Republic, imperialism, the Belle Époque, the First World War, the Great Depression, the Popular Front, the Second World War, the Fourth Republic, the Fifth Republic, the Trente Glorieuses, urban expansion, decolonization, and immigration. Enrollment limited to sophomore status or above.
