This course is an advanced finance course aimed at introducing students to the primary financial issues and challenges that arise in the management of capital. Specific topics include: overview of the asset classes and financial instruments, security markets, and investment companies; techniques of valuing equity and bonds; portfolio management and performance evaluation; modern portfolio theories; and option valuation basics.
