OT 562 - Management of Occupational Therapy Services

This course provides an introduction to various principles of management for occupational therapists. The course presents opportunities to learn about strategic planning, management of therapeutic programs, budgeting, and program evaluation. Students will also learn and apply management theories and leadership principles to employee development and supervision within occupational therapy and/or interdisciplinary teams. Additional topics to be covered include performance improvement, consultation, entrepreneurship, marketing, and organizational change. *Prerequisite(s): Successful completion of the B.S. in Health Sciences and matriculation into the graduate program in Occupational Therapy.
