Cognitive Science Minor

Student Learning Outcomes
Students will be able to:
- Students will demonstrate a basic understanding of the methodology used by biologists, psychologists, computer scientists, and philosophers to address questions of mind/brain and information processing.
- Students will demonstrate a fundamental understanding of experimental design and methodologies commonly used in the field of cognitive science (e.g. fMRI, ERP, computational modeling and statistics) through both oral and written assignments.
- Students will be able to demonstrate an ability to synthesize research findings from an array of disciplines in the cognitive sciences in the evaluation of a question surrounding the mind/brain or information processing as part of a senior capstone seminar.
