Doctor of Dental Surgery/Baccalaureate 4+4 Program with West Virginia University School of Dentistry

Elizabethtown College has an agreement for preferred admission to West Virginia University School of Dentistry Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) program following four years (4+4 program) at Elizabethtown College. In order to apply to the 4+4 program, by the end of the sophomore year the student must: 1) have an overall GPA of at least 3.6 in courses taken at the college; 2) have successfully completed a minimum of 30 semester hours of the courses listed below; 3) have taken at least one Chemistry and one Biology core course per semester during their freshman year; 4) be on track to complete the Physics and Mathematics core courses by the end of their sophomore year; 5) have at least 10 hours of documented observation in one or more general dental practices; and 6) successfully complete a personal interview at the WVU School of Dentistry. A student may major in any discipline, but before beginning courses at WVU, students must have earned a baccalaureate degree from Elizabethtown.
