The Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice Law Enforcement (LE) is a joint degree program between Elizabethtown College and the Pennsylvania State Police Academy for professionals who have graduated from the Pennsylvania State Police Academy and have completed at least one year of law enforcement service with arrest authority. Under this joint degree program, matriculated and degree-seeking students may count the credits earned through PSP as on-campus residency. Students benefit from using academy training and work experience as credits earned toward the degree requirements.
For individuals who are seeking career opportunities beyond the Pennsylvania State Police Training and Education program, this program integrates a comprehensive curriculum that combines police academy training, and theoretical knowledge with practical skills, preparing students for advanced careers in policing, investigations, and public safety. Graduates will be equipped with critical thinking, ethical decision-making, and leadership skills to excel in various law enforcement roles. This degree provides a solid foundation for those who serve and protect their communities.
