BIO 362 - Ecotoxicology4.00 credits. The study of the fate and transport of toxic compounds in the environment. The toxicity of individual pollutants at the organismal, species, population and community levels is discussed. Risk assessment and risk management in ecological systems also are discussed. The course includes laboratory experimentation. *Prerequisite(s): 15 credit hours of biology and eight credit hours of chemistry. Hours: lecture 3, laboratory 4. Spring semester, alternate years.
