CS 121 - Computer Science I4.00 credits. The fundamental concepts of computer organization, machine-level representation of data, algorithmic development and structured programming are presented with an emphasis on the syntactic and execution characteristics of an object-oriented programming language, including data types; arithmetic operators and assignment; input/output, selection and iteration constructs; elementary data structures; and procedural abstraction. NOTE: This course will satisfy Mathematics Core AU for students enrolled prior to Fall 2013.
