PSY 227 - Adult Development and Aging4.00 credits. This course examines human development from emerging adulthood through old age. The fundamental principles of aging will be explored as well as more detailed information about biological, cognitive, social and emotional changes. The ever-changing nature of human experience will be considered with an emphasis on understanding cultural and environmental influences on the aging process. *Prerequisite(s): PSY 105 . Students who complete PSY 225 may not enroll in PSY 226 or PSY 227. Signature Learning Experience: Community-Based Learning. Offered annually.
