MSE 542 - Effective Instruction for Students with ASD and/or EBD (SED 342)

4.00 credits.
This course is designed to prepare teachers to support the participation and education of students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or Emotional and Behavioral Disorders (EBD) in the PK-12 setting. Emphasis is on the diagnostic criteria, methods of identification, and best practices in intervention and support according to current research. Field experience is required. *Prerequisite(s): Acceptance into the Graduate Education Program is required. *Corequisite(s): SED 344 , MSE 565 , and MSE 542L. Register by Instructor.
