ED 212 - Children/Adolescent Literature

The course focuses on literacy genres and the work of well-known authors and illustrators and includes study of multicultural literature that represents diverse ethnic, linguistic, and cultural perspectives. Response to literature and selection of books for the classroom are emphasized. Course content is applicable for Early Childhood and Middle Level classrooms. *Pre/Corequisite(s): ED 105 and ED 150 or ED 151, or formal acceptance into the Education Program is required.
