HS 4350 - Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy

Learners will review, practice, and demonstrate the clinical application of cognitive-behavioral therapies. Areas examined are principles of both cognitive and behavioral theories, engagement and the education of clients, goal setting, strategies and techniques for positive change, enhancement of individual motivation, contingency management, and ongoing assessment. Prerequisite(s): HS 2350 - Counseling Techniques and Skills.
