TIP 522 - Educating Students with Special Needs

This course is designed to empower future educators to support students with diverse learning needs in the general education curriculum across a continuum of placements. The content will explore the social construct of disability; the range of strengths and needs of students; and the ways that intersectionality shapes school experiences. Participants will learn how to evaluate and plan learning activities and classroom spaces that intentionally remove barriers to the general education content to support all learners.
