IS 4700 - Internship in Professional Studies

Classroom education cannot teach all elements of knowledge required for a successful career. This 120-hour internship course enables students to apply interdisciplinary knowledge professionally. Combining academic goals and theoretical knowledge with experiential learning allows students to analyze and integrate experiences; these life-long skills supplement the students’ personal and professional values, ethics, and self-confidence. Students will work with the Career Development Center to establish placements allowing the student to explore potential employment opportunities.
