PHY 202 - College Physics II

4.00 credits.
A continuation of PHY 201 . Calculus-based introduction to the basic concepts of electricity and magnetism to include electrostatics, magnetostatics, electrostatic, potential, current, resistance, capacitance, inductance, direct current circuits, alternating current circuits, Maxwell’s equations, electromagnetic radiation, and quantum mechanics. Students will write several MATLAB programs. *Prerequisite(s): Students who have credit for PHY 102  may not enroll in this course for credit. *Corequisite(s): PHY 202L and MA 121 . Hours: combined lecture/discussion 4, laboratory 2. Spring semester.
