PH 235 - HUM Bioethics

Rapid development of technology during the 20th century has allowed biologists to gather, process, and manipulate animal and plant tissue at a rate faster than any other time in human history. In this course we will investigate the ethical issues surrounding the use of this technology in the medical, research, and agricultural fields by drawing upon a variety of disciplinary perspectives including biology, ethics, history, law, literature, political science, psychology, and religion. *Prerequisite(s): EN 100 .
