BA 345 - Managing Innovation and Technology 4.00 credits. This course focuses on commercializing technology and creating innovation. Topics covered include the drivers of innovation, technology-driven entrepreneurship, managing different types of innovation, and the construction of technology strategy for a firm or business unit. Students learn how to understand both technology and business perspectives as well as how to formulate a profitable technology strategy. Students should come away from this class with a theoretical understanding of these issues and with practical skills to allow you to use innovation and technology management to make your organization succeed. Alternate years. Signature Learning Experience: Internship.
