ART 344 - History of Graphic Design

4.00 credits.
The history of graphic design is an evolution in aesthetics, style, and visual communication. The course traces the advent of new technologies and how this changed the graphic form of communication. Students will investigate the relationship of the graphic design discipline to social change, advertising, branding, propaganda, and personal expression. *Prerequisite(s): ART 157  or permission of the instructor.
