3.00 credits. This course provides the learner with the opportunity to examine challenges facing the healthcare industry in the United States. Learners will analyze controversial issues and differing perspectives to develop understanding of the issues faced by policy makers, healthcare providers, management and citizens. Prerequisite(s):HCA 3100 - Healthcare Ethics, HCA 3310 - Healthcare Law and HCA 3800 - Healthcare Insurance Policy and Management.
