Student Learning Outcomes for Data Analytics Minor:

Students will be able to:

• Demonstrate significant knowledge of statistics, data mining, and machine learning methods.

• Program (Python or Java) a computer.

• Use statistical (R and base SAS) and data mining (SAS Enterprise Miner) tools.

• Use a database to manage data.

• Demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills.

• Apply their knowledge to a particular application in a capstone project.
