The Public Heritage Studies Minor requires:

PHS 201 - WCH Elizabethtown History: Campus and Community (HON 201) 4.00 credits.
PHS 203 - Archival Resources and Digital Humanities 2.00 credits.
PHS 204 - HUM The Politics of Historical Preservation in Lancaster County (HON 204) 4.00 credits.
PHS 470-474 - Internship in Public Heritage Studies Variable (0.00 to 4.00) credit(s). (Two credits minimum).

Students seeking development in Applied History are encouraged to take:

One 300-level History elective with content related to Public Heritage Studies 4.00 credits.

100-200 level History elective 4.00 credits or

ART 280 - NCH World Architecture 4.00 credits. or
HSO 224 - HNR SSC The Amish in Modern Society 4.00 credits.

Students seeking development in Historic Preservation are encouraged to take:

ART 280 - NCH World Architecture 4.00 credits.
ART 495 - Architectural Design Studio I (EGR 495) 2.00 credits.
ART 496 - Architectural Design Studio II (EGR 496) 2.00 credits.

Interdisciplinary Approach:

Students seeking an interdisciplinary approach to the minor must complete eight credits from any of the above listed electives, with at least four credits at the 300-level or above.
