MA 458 - Long Term Actuarial Mathematics4.00 credits. A comprehensive development of the theoretical basis of certain actuarial models and the application of long-term insurance. Topics include long-term insurance coverages; survival models and their estimation; present value random variables; premium calculation; reserves; pension plan and retirement benefits. This course is aimed at students preparing for the Actuarial Examination LTAM. *Prerequisite(s): MA 255 and MA 351 . Signature Learning Experience: Capstone Experience. Spring semester, odd-numbered years.
