FBE 520 - Crafting Entrepreneurial Strategies 3.00 credits. The objective of this course is to offer theoretical and practical insights into the specific strategies and tactics that trigger the growth of entrepreneurial organizations, including start-ups, family-controlled companies and closely held firms. The emphasis is on the development of a portfolio of tools, insights, and skills needed to understand the various strategic issues faced by enterprising companies and to provide strategic viable solutions. The focus of this course is primarily on new ventures, small and mid-size businesses that are engaged in scaling-up. The students will develop a business plan for a start-up based on their own discovered opportunity.
