MCI 515 - Foundations of Exceptional Students

3.00 credits.
Foundations of Exceptional Students examines Special Education’s philosophical, historical, and legal underpinnings and a comprehensive exploration of inclusive education principles and practices. In addition, students will gain a better understanding of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), the intricacies of student assessment, as well as the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
