MCP 625 - Career Development Theory and Practice 3.00 credits. The aim of this course is to provide students with an understanding of career development theories and applied career counseling practices. In this course, we will discuss and explore the role of work in people’s lives, for example, as a source of social support and resilience. We will explore work-related choices and career development as they are informed by clients’ histories, backgrounds, and intersecting roles in society. Summer semester.
