				Student Learning Outcomes for History: Students will be able to: 
	Draw effectively on primary and secondary sources to analyze historical developments in the U.S., Europe, and/or non-western world.Analyze major issues in historiography.Communicate effectively orally and in writing, as appropriate to the discipline of history. |

Surveys - One course must be taken in two of the three following areas of emphasis
Electives - No more than one may be at the 100-level
Upper Division - All courses must be at the 300-level
  One U.S. History courseOne European History courseOne Non-Western History courseCapstone - Enrollment limited to seniors

 Students pursuing a major in History may double major in Social Studies Education . Students electing to double-major may take up to 20 credits for up to two semesters (fall or spring) at Elizabethtown College without paying a credit overload fee. |
