The integration of principles introduced in previous courses, including general biology, general chemistry, and organic chemistry, applied towards an understanding of living matter. Structures, functions, and metabolism of the major classes of biomolecules are emphasized. *Prerequisite(s): BIO 111, CH 213, and an additional 200-level biology or chemistry and biochemistry department course.
