This course is a continuation of Sanskrit I, designed to further develop and enhance basic reading competence and to broaden general knowledge of grammatical principles, an elementary vocabulary, and a sense of the relationship of the structure of the Sanskrit language to classical Indian culture and philosophy. *Prerequisite(s): REL 217.
